my name is aiden, going by piierrote online! I'm a 22 queer irish artist currently based in the UK. alongside working as a barista, i make art as much as possible in my home studio (my bedroom haha)! i live with two of my lovely friends and two cats

i largely make digital illustration, but i love to explore traditional mediums like markers, oil pastels, pencils and ceramics. all my work is heavily informed by my experience as a queer person, and also by what is really moving and inspiring me. i have a real affinity for angels, cowboys and nature and a lot of my work features these themes

my goal is always to make work that creates joy within me, and hopefully reaches others as well <3

butch valentine is a brand new addition to my household! he is a 5 month old ragdoll kitten that is full of sweetness but also dumb as rocks. he has a joy for rummaging through rubbish, climbing curtains and being the equivalent of a living stuffed toy

aristotle is my beloved 8 year old cat. i consider us soul bonded and her to be immortal. she's infinitely silly, sweet and snoozy. she's accompanied me through many moves and infinite life stages. she loves to stare at you longingly at any time of day
